Carla Raffl

It was clear to me early on that I definitely wanted to make a contribution to a better world. Through my many years of volunteer work in a youth group of Caritas Vorarlberg, I was already able to learn a lot in the area of social media communication, fundraising and project organization, and through my social year in the Vorarlberg Children's Village and my work as a tennis coach for children, I learned that I am especially passionate about working with children and young people. In my future career, I would like to combine all these different activities, which is why I have chosen this degree program. I have already been able to gain many new insights into different areas during this course of study. 

 

In my work at the Vorarlberg Children's Village, I have noticed that I distinguish myself by my patience in dealing with other people, my clarity, empathy and reliability. This semester, I am especially looking forward to working together as a team. Each team member brings their own strengths and I am optimistic that we will definitely be able to deliver relevant results to our project partner SOS Children's Villages and make a positive difference.
