Sigrid Baldinger
Personal Profile
My interest in foreign cultures and sustainability resulted in a career change in 2015 to pursue a career in the development sector. Since then, I have gained valuable practical experience with organizations in Cambodia and Austria. The focus of my work is technical and vocational education and training as well as inclusion of persons with disabilities. My responsibilities included organizational management, program coordination and fundraising. To further expand on my practical experience, I started studying Nonprofit, Social and Health Care Management part-time in 2020.

I have several years of leadership experience as well as experience in project development and project management, training and education management and cultivation of strategic partnerships with donors and implementing partners. I am characterized by a goal- and solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills and high organizational skills. My professional experience in combination with the knowledge of academic work will benefit me in the execution of the project and help me in my role as project manager and mentor for the team. I am looking forward to working with SOS Children's Villages, which has been sparking my interest for quite some time due to its internationality and focus on children and young people.
